There could be many possible reasons for your dull skin looking dull. Because of stress, chaotic lifestyles, pollution, and sitting in air condition for long hours, the dead cells start accumulating on the skin in patches. The darkening around lips happens because of exposure to UV rays and excessive rubbing of skin in that area. Regular exfoliation is important to get a healthy glowing skin, but facials are not the best solution. Facials only massage and superficially clean the skin. I would recommend a three-step holistic solution to keep your skin glowing.
Repair: Exfoliate your skin using peels instead of facials. These fruit fatty acid peel solutions remove the dead skin cells evenly. They stimulate skin cells evenly. They stimulate skin rejuvenation and repair damage.
Nourish: Drink 8-10 glasses of water every day. Include a glass of fresh lime juice and 2 teaspoons of flaxseeds in your daily diet. Apply daily moisturizer, within three minutes of washing your face.
Protect: Apply the sunscreen at least 20 minutes before going in the sun.
