Don’t overdose on steroids:
US researchers found that among 196 people with asthma who used inhaled steroids, those who took the highest doses for the longest periods of time were most likely to have low bone density. Antidepressants also cause bone loss.
Quit smoking:
Studies have shown a direct link between smoking and a decrease in bone density.
Dress in loose, flowing clothes – harem pants, skirts (tiered, gathered or pleated) and ruffled tops. Choose a bold color, or shades of bling. Accessorize with multi layered necklaces, bangles, large earrings and bright scandals. As make-up, just use kohl and a lip gloss. Comfortable and trendy just… right for the retro mood.
