• Get your mason to cut open and fill wall cracks with an acrylic paintable sealant it they are less than 5mm wide. External walls should also be covered with waterproof paint. Larger cracks may need major repairs – do consult an expert.
• Seepage leads to peeling paint on your walls. Use oil-based, fungus resistant products on the walls to prevent the seepage from spreading. These are long-lasting and also give a nice finish to your walls.
